Counted Stitches is a wonderful haven for cross stitchers in search of variety in both charts and embellishments. Margie is very accommodating when it comes to special orders. |

And, best of all, they'll let you browse for hours! We know, because we have! Brian provides a great photo-to-cross-stitch service and really delights in seeing the enthusiasm in stitchers. They are both great for a laugh. Margie will surely make you smile with stories about their grandchildren; Caitlyn, Mason, and the grandson-on-the-way. "Break-your-legs Brian" enjoys dropping hints about his dangerous adventures and nonexistent mob tendencies, though I must admit he gets us wondering sometimes. You never quite know about those cross-stitch shop-owners. =-) |

We have to say that they've definitely made our first Spokane chart signing a very welcoming experience. We simply cannot thank them enough. It got off to a bumpy start, though, with a death in our family which led to a rescheduling and a trip back to Chicago. Upon our return, the chart signing certainly cheered us up as we relaxed and laughed with Margie, Brian, and their family; Sarah, Greta, and Jeff. Peter and I are also very appreciative of Counted Stitches' customers who were patient and kind enough to make a second trip out to see us. Thank you. |

We think that Rock City is beginning to recognize the four of us. Rock City is a great American-Italian Grill in the Spokane Valley which we've been frequenting. They feed their customers very well and let us linger for hours, which we really like! |
